An attack on critical government agencies

Firings, employee buyout schemes, shutting down an entire agency. The Trump administration is gutting federal funding and attacking the public servants who are critical to making our government function. Hollowing out the agencies that oversee the environment will endanger all of us.

A handout to Trump allies dressed up as wildfire relief

Citing the fires in Los Angeles, Trump ordered federal agencies to immediately deliver more water — not to Southern California, but to the Central Valley hundreds of miles away, where agribusiness stands to profit. He told the agencies to override any rules that might hinder this operation, such as endangered species protections.

This new executive order is just the beginning of this administration’s attacks on endangered species

President Trump’s executive order seeks to empower an extinction committee, sometimes referred to as the “God Squad,” to greenlight controversial projects that prioritize special interests, even at the cost of wiping out an entire species.

The “drill, baby, drill” agenda

On Day One, President Trump declared an “energy emergency” and issued a flurry of executive actions targeting public lands and waters for fossil fuel extraction. Taken together, these orders seek to rob the American people of millions of acres that belong to them so they can be auctioned off to the fossil fuel industry.
