Many of you know Mark’s wife, former U.S. Representative Gabby Giffords. In 2011, Gabby was shot and nearly killed at a “Congress on Your Corner” event in Tucson, Arizona. Over the course of her long recovery, Mark supported her every step of the journey, facing challenges unthinkable to most of us with unwavering strength and grace.
Since 2011, I’ve watched Mark and Gabby fight for common-sense gun reform, taking on the NRA and helping elect responsible Democrats dedicated to ending gun violence across the country. [[link removed]]
Mark is running against Martha McSally – a Trump loyalist who cares more about blindly following the president than helping families and workers in Arizona.
Recent polls show Kelly leading McSally – but it’s going to be a close race. Just like here in Colorado, Mitch McConnell is using outside money to prop up vulnerable Republicans.
