Hi John --

ICYMI: Our latest Primary Buzz Discussion is happening THIS THURSDAY at 3pm ET:

WHAT: Open Primaries President John Opdycke will sit down with comedian, author and political satirist Andrew Heaton for a topical, spicy and hopefully fun conversation on What does it mean to be an independent entertainer in the age of political fragmentation and whether it’s possible to bridge the divides in comedy right now and find meaningful commonalities.

WHO: Andrew Heaton is a comedian, author, and political satirist. He’s the host of “The Political Orphanage” comedy and news podcast. He’s a frequent Reason TV contributor and hosted the popular web series “Mostly Weekly.” He’s performed standup comedy at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, as a finalist in the China International Standup Competition, and throughout the United States and Europe. A former congressional staffer, he’s the best-selling author of “Laughter is Better Than Communism,” as well as two funny novels.

WHEN: Thursday February 27th at 3pm ET

WHERE: On Zoom! Register HERE <[link removed]>

WHY: 50% of Americans who are opting out of the two major parties. As the divide deepens and more Americans leave the parties, we want to explore if there is actually an opening for political comedy that unites people instead of reinforcing division.

See you Thursday,

The Open Primaries Team
