Hey friend, I’m Nick Brown — Attorney General of Washington.

Donald Trump’s return to the White House means that AGs have a greater responsibility to defend human rights and democracy at the state level. Like many of you, I share deep concerns about what this means for our communities and our future as a nation.

This is a dark time for the United States, but let me assure you: My fellow Dem AGs and I are working around the clock to defend our rights from the Trump administration.

In the initial flurry of lawsuits in the last month, we blocked Trump’s attempt to end birthright citizenship and his federal funding freeze — but this fight isn’t over. Trump will continue to fight to enact his dangerous agenda, and we can’t back down.

For the next four years, my office will guard core rights — abortion access, LGBTQ+ protections, access to clean water and air, and more — as a xxxxxx against harmful policies from Trump, the MAGA Republicans, or anyone who threatens our values.

But I can't do this alone. We need a coalition of Democratic Attorneys General nationwide to bolster our efforts. If you’re with me, pitch in to help elect Democratic AGs: [[link removed]?]
