Throughout this pandemic, Sheriff Paul Penzone has exhibited the kind of leadership that’s required to get us through a crisis of this magnitude. In putting the safety of our community first, he’s helped manage Arizona’s response to get us to a place where we can safely and slowly begin to reopen.
This is the kind of leadership Maricopa County needs, and Sheriff Penzone has proven he can and will deliver results for our community. But unfortunately, it’s not as easy as that to get him reelected.
Our opponent, convicted criminal Joe Arpaio, has been courting out-of-state donors and selling gimmicks of past abuses to build a massive campaign war chest. Right now, he’s outpacing our campaign in fundraising — but we still have a few days to catch up before the end of the month.
We’re aiming to raise $10,000 before the end of May to make sure Sheriff Penzone has the campaign resources to back up all the work he’s doing. Will you help us hit our goal by chipping in to support Sheriff Penzone’s reelection effort?
