Let me tell you what happened.

Earlier this week, I spoke out against Kash Patel’s confirmation for FBI
Director in front of the FBI building.

We should all have deep concerns on Kash Patel’s ability to be a neutral
arbiter of the rule of law and the justice system — considering he’s been
a willing participant in every last one of Trump’s schemes to seize power.

Patel has spread dangerous, false conspiracy theories about a “deep state”
that is unfairly persecuting the MAGA world.

He’s called for a “comprehensive housecleaning” of professionals at the
Justice Department.

While I served on the House Intelligence Committee, Kash Patel was a major
part of the efforts to sabotage a thorough investigation of Russia’s
involvement in the 2016 election.

He’s even resorted to childish antics such as launching watermelons (with
my face on it) out of a catapult and sharing videos of me being
buzz-sawed.

And for all his sycophantic work, he was rewarded with a post in the Trump
Administration.

Kash Patel has attacked me before, calling me a criminal and trying to
discredit my work to hold Trump accountable.

Now, Elon Musk is doubling down on the smears against me.

I’ve been bullied and called names before. Everyone, from Trump to Sean
Hannity to Musk and Patel, has come after me. And it’s clear they have no
intention of stopping.

But they’re not going to stop me from holding them accountable. Not now,
not ever.

Not when Donald Trump proclaims himself to be a king. Not when Elon Musk
calls me a criminal. Not when Republicans come after me. Not when they go
after critical services for working families.
