A lot has happened in recent weeks, so I wanted to take a moment to get you up to speed.

- The Trump-Musk agenda continues to wreak havoc. I’m deeply concerned by the near-hourly attacks – including most recently on the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and NASA, federal workers, and our very democracy.

- While it may seem far off, our race to keep CA-27 blue in 2026 is already underway. I was one of only a few Democrats to flip a red seat blue in November, and I’m already facing early attacks from a GOP super PAC hoping to stifle our momentum.

- The nonpartisan experts at the Cook Political Report have ranked our seat as key for House control. We’re just one rating away from being a toss-up, and it’s only a matter of time before a hand-picked Republican launches a campaign against me.

This is not the time to give up, and the fact is winning a House majority next year is the best way to create a real check on this administration. Please chip in $3 or any amount to help us prepare for the work ahead.
