Last night, we secured another court order to temporarily stop unelected billionaire Elon Musk and his DOGE team from accessing Americans’ private data.

This decision by a U.S. District Judge in New York will extend the ban on Musk and DOGE from U.S. Treasury Department payment systems, which they have no legal authority to access.

It’s another win for the people — for now. While this preliminary injunction is good news, unfortunately, other court decisions this week have allowed DOGE to continue accessing records at federal health, education, labor, and consumer financial protection agencies, as well as directing the firing of federal workers.

This fight is far from over. President Donald Trump and his administration do not have the authority to give our sensitive data to anyone they see fit or to fire anyone they want without cause.
