New York Times: Elon Musk's DOGE Seeks Access to Americans' Data, Alarming Government Employees

Elon Musk is putting Virginians’ — and Americans’— privacy at risk. He’s jeopardizing the security of personal information—including financial records, medical data, tax returns, and more. This is unacceptable.

It’s deeply concerning that an unelected billionaire could gain access to this sensitive information. It raises serious questions about transparency, accountability, and the integrity of our government.

We cannot allow Musk and his allies to continue gutting essential federal programs and agencies that serve our communities. Their reckless cuts have already slashed vital federal programs and led to the firing of thousands of nonpartisan, dedicated federal employees — many of whom call Virginia home.

While Virginia’s Governor and Lieutenant Governor have stood firmly behind Trump and DOGE’s reckless actions, I won’t stand for any policy that’s a direct threat to Virginia’s security and economy. So, I hope you’ll join me and support my campaign as we work to flip Virginia blue this November:
