This Black History Month, we honor and uplift Black Trans and Nonbinary (TGNB+) young people by prioritizing their mental health and well-being. Black TGNB+ young people often face unique challenges, including higher rates of discrimination and mental health stressors–but they also shine with creativity, strength, and individuality. Supporting them means creating spaces that celebrate their identities, uplift their voices, and ensure they have access to the care they deserve.

To help foster this care, we’ve created a guide with actionable self-care tips for Black TGNB+ youth ([link removed]) and practical allyship advice for those who support them. By centering compassion and understanding, we can take meaningful steps toward building a world where every young person feels safe and valued.
