[ [link removed] ]Mother crying and holding her dead child in her arms after an Israeli
airstrike
John,
More than 17,000 children, and 214 newborn infants, are among the tens of
thousands dead from Israel's attacks on Gaza. Many are still missing under
the rubble.
This is possible because of companies like Maersk, which transport
millions of dollars' worth of weapons to Israel that are being used to
massacre Palestinians – even after a supposed ceasefire.
But the Danish shipping giant is under growing pressure to cut ties with
this blood-soaked trade, and now we have a chance to make sure its CEO and
board take notice.
Maersk’s annual shareholder meeting is in days. Our team has been working
flat out, securing the research, legal advice and partners needed to file
a shareholder resolution. Now it’s absolutely critical that we launch a
massive advocacy push so shareholders know about the resolution – and the
potential legal and financial risks Maersk is exposed to if it doesn't
stop.
If enough of us chip in, our team can unleash bold tactics that target
shareholders and grab headlines – so our message can't be missed. Together
we can stop the flow of arms and dismantle the machinery of genocide, step
by step. So let's make this one of the most impactful campaigns Maersk has
ever faced. Can you help?

The death toll in Gaza is rising. Almost 62,000 have been killed with a
staggering number of them women and children.
Despite a call for an arms embargo by the highest court in the
world, Maersk has carried on quietly shipping weapons that are fueling
Israel’s attacks in Gaza. But without companies like Maersk, Israel’s
genocidal machine would grind to a halt.
That's where we come in.
Maersk claims to be a human rights leader and boasts about adhering to
international law. So we know it cares about its public image as well as
its bottom line. And because Maersk is a Danish company, we also have EU
regulations working in our favor.
Now if we can build support from enough shareholders for our resolution
ahead of the AGM, we have a real chance of showing the CEO and board that
it's much too costly to stay in this deadly trade – and they'll be forced
to act.
Our campaigners, legal experts, and researchers are all on standby. We've
worked diligently to get a shareholder resolution filed, and the team has
been strategizing for weeks on the next steps...With enough donations, we
can hit go and work to make this the most impactful shareholder advocacy
campaign Maersk has ever faced. We'll use every tactic we can: from
shareholder outreach to targeted ads to planned media stunts at the HQ.
This AGM will be our moment to make an unforgettable impression on the
company's leadership.
John, this is how we win, and how we can dismantle the
machinery of genocide, for good. Every second counts in this fight—can you
help?

Months ago, Ekō successfully forced French insurance giant AXA to stop
funding Israel’s illegal settlements — but only because we moved quickly
and decisively. Now we can do it again. Are you in, John?
