'We need to take a big, bold approach to protect lives and livelihoods." - Doug Jones
The quotes really say it all. On one hand, Doug Jones is taking decisive action to make sure we protect everyone’s lives and livelihoods.
"In the next month or so. we'll be talking about possibly another bill - Mitch McConnell
On the other, Mitch McConnell doubled down on his lack of urgency by saying he would allow the Senate to consider more Coronavirus relief “likely… in the next month or so.” That isn't good enough. Americans need help now.
What's worse is that McConnell isn’t just sitting around. He’s putting all his energy into beating Doug and making sure either extreme Tommy Tuberville or divisive Jeff Sessions wins the Alabama Senate seat. While they are fighting over their mistakes, this is our opportunity to make sure Alabama doesn't make an even bigger one by electing Sessions or Tommy Tuberville (who said he "wouldn't have a clue" how to deal with the Coronavirus).
McConnell’s priorities may be warped, but we all know Doug’s giving his all to stand up for us. Let’s make sure we have Doug’s back >> [[link removed]]
