Donald Trump and Elon Musk are taking a chainsaw to Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, the EPA, the FDA, the Department of Education, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau… the list goes on and on.

But the backlash is happening.

At a Friday town hall meeting in a deep-red Georgia congressional district, Republican Rep. Rich McCormick got heckled by more than 500 furious constituents.

Then, yesterday, as we reported, thousands turned out to see Sen. Bernie Sanders rail against the right-wing oligarchy that is taking a blowtorch to our society. People are angry and fed up — and rightly so.
