As Ben's campaign manager, I wanted to give you a little more info on what Sunday's fundraising goal means, because it's critical for our path to victory.

Look, I ran Ben's campaign in 2018 when we flipped this seat, so I can tell you from experience that our strength heading into June will be make-or-break in this toss-up race.

We have to do everything we can before Sunday to hit our May fundraising goal and start off June strong. Ben and I are counting on this team to raise the last $5,900 we need for this critical stretch -- can we count on you to chip in?

The thing is, our campaign is already seeing well-funded attacks coming in from outside groups. We've seen digital ads distorting Ben's record in Congress, not to mention hundreds of thousands of dollars in TV ads reserved by a super PAC determined to defeat Ben and take this seat back for themselves.

In just a few weeks, our Republican opponents will unite behind one candidate, and we can expect to see these attacks increase. So frankly, we can't afford to wait any longer to fight back. We need to make sure voters are hearing Ben's message right now. That's why I'm asking for your help today.
