Ever since Donald Trump was sworn in to his second term in the White House, he’s given Elon Musk — the world’s richest man — unchecked power over the American people.

Under the guise of promoting “efficiency,” Elon Musk’s DOGE team has thrown our country into chaos. He’s tried to gain access to the private financial data of millions of Americans, laid off federal employees who deliver critical services to New Jerseyans, and threatened to slash critical programs like Medicare and Social Security.

The last thing New Jerseyans need is a governor who will put corrupt billionaires like Elon Musk and Donald Trump over the safety, freedoms, and pocketbooks of working families.

But in the Republican race for governor, that’s exactly what’s on offer. Just last week, one GOP candidate publicly appealed to Elon Musk directly, promising a DOGE takeover of New Jersey “on day one.”

And we don’t need to tell you what it would mean to be facing a candidate backed by Elon financially in November. 

We’ll say it again, folks: New Jersey needs to elect a strong Democratic governor this November.
