I know there has been a lot of news coming at you the last several weeks. It can be a lot to cipher through the noise, but I wanted to take a quick moment to send a note on a topic that is top of mind for a lot of people right now: Elon Musk.

In the moment we find ourselves in now, it’s important to call out the villains when there are some.

And right now, that villain is Elon Musk – a billionaire who no one elected, who currently has been handed more power than even Trump’s own cabinet appointees, despite not being confirmed himself.

Over the last few weeks, we have seen Mr. Musk and his DOGE team gain unprecedented access to key government departments, illegally access the personal data of millions of Americans, and we even saw him conduct a press conference from inside the Oval Office.

Friend, the type of outsized influence from Elon Musk and other billionaires is harmful to hardworking families across the country.

But as much as the story of our country is about villains at this moment, it is also about heroes. And the heroes are the American people.

We need everyone who believes in the Constitution – the same Constitution I spent 27 months in combat defending – to speak up. It’s not about Democrat or Republican, it’s about building a broader coalition of people who stand up and say this is not who we are as a country. The people who should be speaking up right now, the people we need speaking up right now, are from those from every background.

Even when it’s hard, even when the onslaught is overwhelming, even when you’re tired.
