Hi, I’m Beth Davidson, and I’m excited to announce that I’m running for Congress in New York’s 17th District!

This is one of just three Republican-held districts that Kamala Harris won in 2024, and I’m determined to flip it blue in 2026. But to make that happen, I need your help. Will you join me and Blue Amp Action today as a Founding Donor to my campaign?

I’m running for Congress because I love the Hudson Valley—it’s home. It’s where my husband and I set down roots and are raising our two children. But the truth is, the Hudson Valley has changed in ways that deeply concern me. I’ve seen firsthand how the price of housing has skyrocketed, making it harder and harder for families to afford to live here and how the cost of living has become unsustainable. And I know many local businesses—mom and pop shops that have been here for generations—are closing their doors. 

But the truth is, neither Albany nor Washington has been delivering the results our community deserves. Too many families are struggling, and it’s time for new leadership that actually understands the issues we face.

As a former member of the School Board and now as a County Legislator in Rockland County, I’ve fought for people across every age group—from our youngest students to our most senior residents. I’ve always put our community first, and now, I’m ready to take that fight to Washington.

I know how to get things done. In Rockland, I’ve worked across party lines to secure real progress. And I’m ready to bring that same determination and results-driven approach to Congress. We need a leader who understands our community, who knows how to build consensus, and who will always put the needs of the Hudson Valley first.

But I can’t do it alone. This race is set to be one of the most competitive in the country in 2026, so we need to prepare now to flip this seat and defeat Republican Mike Lawler.
