Hello,
My name is Adrian Fontes. As a Let America Vote advisory board member and County Recorder in Maricopa County, Arizona -- the third largest voting jurisdiction in America, with 5 congressional districts inside our county -- I work to make sure every voter in Arizona has their voice heard.
This is no small task. It takes advocating for reforms in our electoral process, fighting to make voter registration and voting more accessible, and putting in the work to count each and every vote from our 2.5 million Maricopa voters.
I was the first Latino elected countywide in a county that holds 62% of Arizona’s population, and in 2018 we went through the painstaking work to count every last vote on every last ballot, something that previous election officials failed to do. It made major differences in our elections.
And while I am an elected Democrat, this job isn’t about party to me. My life’s work comes down to protecting democracy for every eligible voter.
Will you contribute a grassroots donation to my reelection campaign so I can continue to protect democracy and fight for all voters?
Arizona is now a battleground state. In 2018, we elected our first Democratic United States Senator since 1988.
Maricopa County, with the highest concentration of voters and a diversity of political leanings, will be the focus of that battleground. We need someone up to the task of protecting our democracy and the voice of every American voter.
Donate now to help me protect our vote. Our democracy is counting on it.
Thank you for your support,
Adrian Fontes
Maricopa County Recorder
