STOP WORK ORDER: With a few exemptions, U.S. government funding for UNFPA’s lifesaving care is currently *suspended* .
As the funding freeze further exacerbates the dire situation Ukrainians are facing, will you rush a donation right now to sustain programs for women, girls, pregnant mothers, and infants? [[link removed]?]

Yesterday marked three years since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
Women and girls are still suffering as the ongoing conflict and brutal winter weather intensifies. Through it all, UNFPA is doing all we can to help.
"Even during the most severe winter frosts, our assistance to patients does not stop. We have to reach out because often these are the only available consultations for them," shared Dr. Kucher , a gynecologist with a UNFPA Mobile Health Clinic in Ukraine.
Over 16 million people still need support in this region, including 4 million women and 2.6 million young people.
The most vulnerable — newborns, pregnant women, the elderly, and young children — will go almost all day without heat in freezing temperatures and face extreme health risks as a result.
UNFPA is at the forefront of this humanitarian crisis, ensuring access to essential services, strengthening care for pregnant women and new mothers, and improving access to lifesaving care in conflict-affected areas in Ukraine:
* 5,000 refugee women insured with UNFPA-funded financial health coverage
* 320,000 people reached with essential sexual and reproductive health services
* 33,492 UNFPA Winter Dignity Kits and Mama Kits distributed to women, girls, and new mothers surviving the cold
But despite these efforts, a critical funding gap remains, limiting UNFPA’s access to scale up essential services.
Currently, our Ukraine emergency response is only 39% funded. Continued investment from donors and partners is crucial to ensure that women and girls in crisis-affected areas receive the support and protection they urgently need.
While a majority of our U.S. governmental funding remains frozen, we’re counting on supporters like you to help us expand our presence. Please make a gift to help women and girls living through humanitarian crises in Ukraine and around the world. [[link removed]?]
