TELL THE U.S. SENATE: Musk is trying to destroy government agencies and services the American people rely on — Social Security, the CFPB, Head Start, nutrition assistance, and much more. Our lawmakers must make an unprecedented stand against this nefarious billionaire. Sign the petition: Filibuster all funding mechanisms for Musk’s SpaceX and Tesla contracts with the federal government!

Hi,

Elon Musk built his $400 billion1 fortune with the help of billions of dollars in federal contracts. Over the past decade, SpaceX and Tesla secured at least $15 billion in contracts just from the Defense Department and NASA.2

Senators must respond to Musk’s quest to destroy our government and the social safety net with decisive action. If just 41 Senators filibuster the funding mechanisms for SpaceX and Tesla’s contracts, it could force Musk to choose between his billions and his role in the government.

Sign the petition: Filibuster funding for SpaceX and Tesla’s federal contracts!

Musk’s massive defense contracts mean our taxpayer money is going straight to the billionaire’s bottom line. And Musk’s role in the Trump admin means he could keep sending his companies billions in contracts — a clear conflict of interest.

Musk is already too powerful, and is attempting to destroy Social Security, environmental protections, Medicare and Medicaid, public media, and so much more. Senators must use new tactics to thwart Musk now.

Add your name: No more defense contracts for Musk!

Thanks for taking action,

Joey and the team at Demand Progress
