Growing Grassroots Resistance to Trump Outpaces Democratic Party Leaders

Behind closed doors last month, House Democrats expressed their frustration at an unexpected target: their own base. At a February 10 Steering and Policy Committee meeting, Democratic representatives complained about “activist groups like MoveOn and Indivisible” facilitating “thousands of phone calls to members’ offices,” according to Axios.
