I'm delighted to let you know that we are now accepting applications for the United Nations Youth Delegate Programme for Ireland 2025 – 2026.
Run by the National Youth Council of Ireland together with the Department of Foreign Affairs, this programme is a truly amazing opportunity that will see two young people aged 18-25 join Ireland’s delegation to the United Nations, and give voice to issues concerning young people in Ireland and around the globe.

Ireland’s Nomination for the EU-UN Youth Delegate Programme 2025-2026
In addition to seeking applications for Ireland's representation at the UN, we are also seeking to nominate one individual to proceed to the selection process for the EU-UN Youth Delegate role, who will join the European Union's delegation to the United Nations.
Deadline: Friday 28th February
N.B. Please note that these are separate opportunities. Candidates may apply for both the EU-UNYD opportunity and Ireland’s UNYD opportunity, but will not be able to hold both positions if successful.
