| Dear Fellow American, Jean Marie Davis's childhood was the stuff of nightmares.
Neglected and abused, she was trafficked from an early age and fell into a ten-year cycle of prostitution and addiction. When she eventually became pregnant, her pimp threatened her life, and she fled.
Struggling with drug addiction and the horror of her past, Jean Marie considered aborting her unborn son.
But then Jean Marie found Jesus, and her life was transformed.
After attending Bible college, she felt the call to help women like herself. So she became director of the Branches Pregnancy Resource Center in Vermont, providing much-needed resources to pregnant women, many of whom come from horrific circumstances similar to her own.
And under Jean Marie's leadership, Branches has thrived.
But the state of Vermont isn't applauding her transformation and life-saving work. It is trying to put a stop to it.
Why? Because Branches doesn't offer abortions.
For daring to offer an alternative to abortion, Branches now faces threats from the state government. And under a new law, now Branches could face fines up to $10,000 for advertising in a way Vermont's pro-abortion attorney general decides is "misleading."
The right to live and speak the truth belongs to everyone, regardless of political beliefs––and when people like Jean Marie speak the truth to vulnerable women, they spread the love of Jesus Christ while providing resources to those who desperately need them.
Will you give whatever you can today to help defend the rights of Jean Marie and other pro-life pregnancy centers?
