Well, not that much change, really. We explained to our longtime Blue Letter readers over email yesterday that Substack—due to its easy usability, multi-media capabilities (embedded video, livestreaming...more on this in a sec!) and building blocks for a true interactive community—would become our new home for The Blue Letter, and Blue Amp brand, always seeking to “Amplify Good.”
Yet, for those of you already here to read “Cliff’s Edge,” you’ll still get that too! The Blue Letter will be our regular round-up of key news we send to you to cut through algorithms of billionaire-sponsored disinformation. Cliff’s Edge will remain a vertical here, and my personal space to create regular commentary for you that is aggressive in its critique of corruption, conversational in style and always searching for humor.

Today, we re-launch with, other features to be announced that you’re going to love(!), with something so crazy I can’t believe I’m writing it much less doing it—a 12-hr straight livestream from 8am et to 8pm et that will include some of your favorite people! Lastly, I just want to make sure to be very clear that we intend to grow this space with added features, video, livestreams, who knows what else. We are up against it. Just see the axe that fell on so many at MSNBC yesterday. All you need to know about our current atmosphere is that when CNN truth-teller Jim Acosta left CNN, he was on Substack the very next day doing his show live from here.
As for the cesspool of right-wing owned social media, from Musk to Zuckerberg, we will be part of the antidote to their worldwide virus of lies, conspiracies and autocracy.
So watch the livestream marathon today with some of our best independent media and political folks out there. And actors. And a comedian. And a rock star. We aim to educate but also entertain. And be sure to subscribe to the Substack if you haven’t yet, because from our surprise announcements today to plans for the future, you ain’t seen nothing yet.
