President Trump Meets with French President Emmanuel Macron at White House to Discuss Peace Plan in Ukraine
Fox News: President Donald Trump said “a lot of progress has been made” toward ending the war in Ukraine after French President Emmanuel Macron joined him at the White House for a call with Group of Seven (G7) leaders. Macron, who called for an emergency gathering of world leaders after the Trump administration excluded Europe from sitting at the negotiating table to settle the war between Ukraine and Russia, is in Washington, D.C., Monday to meet with Trump. Macron first arrived at the White House around 8 a.m. local time and was inside for several hours. While he was leaving, Macron was seen giving a thumbs up to reporters and said the phone call with the G7 leaders was “perfect” ( Fox News). Breaking911: Behind the scenes today at the Whitehouse as President Trump met with French President Macron. Remember when the Biden Whitehouse would provide us with these incredible videos? Not ( X).

Federal Judge Blocks Order to Transfer Trans Inmates to Jail of Biological Sex
USA Today: A federal judge on Monday blocked the Justice Department from transferring 12 transgender female inmates to male prisons, in a setback for President Donald Trump’s executive orders denying recognition of transgender people. The inmates housed at Bureau of Prisons facilities filed their lawsuit Jan. 30 because of concerns they would lose access to medical treatment if transferred to prisons that didn’t recognize their gender identities. The inmates argued they would be at substantial risk of serious harm if transferred, a violation of the Eighth Amendment to the Constitution. U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth had issued a temporary restraining order Feb. 18 against transferring the inmates. Lamberth, an appointee of former President Ronald Reagan, extended the block with a preliminary injunction by ruling the inmates were likely to win their case under the Eighth Amendment ( USA Today). Fox News: The lawsuit filed Friday, Jane Doe v. Pamela Bondi, alleges that President Donald Trump’s executive order, “Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government,” signed in January, “targets transgender individuals and attempts to strip them of established legal protections.” Trump’s executive order prohibits taxpayer dollars “expended for any medical procedure, treatment, or drug for the purpose of conforming an inmate’s appearance to that of the opposite sex” ( Fox News).

Apple Invests $500 Billion in the United States
Washington Post: Apple said Monday that it will create 20,000 jobs and open a new manufacturing facility in Houston as part of a more than $500 billion investment in the United States over the next four years. The Texas plant, which will open in 2026, will assemble servers “previously manufactured outside the U.S.” that help power Apple’s artificial intelligence, the company said. Apple also will expand data center capacity in Arizona, Iowa, Nevada, North Carolina and Oregon as it brings AI features to more customers ( Washington Post). Townhall: President Trump on Monday celebrated Apple’s decision to spend and invest hundreds of billions of dollars into the United States over the next four years, a move that was made because of “faith in what we are doing,” he argued ( Townhall). CEO Branding Expert: This is not random. Trump is the first true CEO President, a businessman who understands corporate incentives, risk, and return. It is also his second term. There is no guessing how he governs. Companies know exactly what they are getting. Predictability breeds confidence. Trump has also spent more time engaging with tech CEOs than any president before him. He does not treat them as adversaries. He treats them as partners in economic growth. Some will say this investment is just about supply chain shifts or trade wars, but Apple could have gone anywhere. They chose America ( X).

Poll Reveals DOGE’s Massive Popularity
Just the News: Eighty-three percent of voters expressed a preference for cutting government spending to raising taxes, while 77% supported a broad review of government spending. Sixty percent of voters, moreover, believe that DOGE is currently helping the government to make major cuts. A further 70% believe government spending is rife with waste and fraud, while 69% support ultimately cutting spending by $1 trillion ( Just the News). Elon Musk: Reducing government waste & fraud is strongly supported by the people ( X). Libs of TikTok: This new poll is absolutely devastating to the Democrats. DOGE is EXTREMELY popular by huge margins. They screeched about it for weeks on every show and publication but the American people didn’t fall for it. Just shows how irrelevant the media and leftist talking heads are ( X).

Biden Used the EPA to Dole Out Money to Friends
Katie Pavlich: Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin has been at the federal agency for two weeks and is looking through a long list of grants handed out to “climate change organizations” during the Biden administration. His findings are astonishing and show the agency was turned into slush fund for liberal political groups and players. For example former Georgia Democrat gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams, whose focus is on voter registration and activism, received billions in EPA grants. She isn’t the only one. A former Biden staffer also got billions in funding despite a lack of evidence she knew how to manage non-profit funds ( Townhall). Thomas Catenacci: The Biden EPA gave a $20M environmental justice grant to a small group run by a member of Biden’s own environmental justice council. And according to internal agency documents, that official, LaTricea Adams, personally applied for the grant while on the council ( X). Steve Guest: The climate agenda is thoroughly corrupt. Joe Biden and his administration took billions of taxpayer dollars to enrich themselves and their friends. These sampling of the revelations from the past week ( X).

Governor Ron DeSantis Pushes to End Property Taxes in Florida
SF Gate: The Florida Legislature is considering a move to eliminate property taxes in the state, a radical step that has the backing of Gov. Ron DeSantis. If actually carried out, the proposal would make Florida the first state in the country without property taxes, a prospect that has already drawn strong reactions from both supporters and opponents. A bill filed on Tuesday in the Florida Senate calls for a formal study of how eliminating real estate taxes could affect public services and the state’s economy and housing market. Property taxes fund schools, parks, and emergency services. Florida has no income tax, and the proposed study would examine whether higher sales taxes could fill the funding gap if property taxes are eliminated ( SF Gate). Florida’s Voice: Gov. Ron DeSantis on ending property taxes statewide: “You buy a home, you buy land… and then, you’ve been taxed many times [on that]… is it your property, or not? Just for being on your property, you’ve got to write a check to the government every year?” “A lot of people can’t afford that. That’s a big issue. We’re going to be looking at ways to bring people relief from that” ( X).

Violent Criminal Released Without Bail in NYC
Police officers risked their lives to catch him and the justice system just lets him walk. New York Post: A deranged vagrant who allegedly slashed a worker at a Brooklyn dollar store and then tried to light his victim on fire was cut loose without bail — after just three days at Rikers Island. Joaquin Hidalgo, 35, who already had open cases against him in three boroughs, was ordered held on $25,000 bail on felony assault, arson and robbery charges last week for the Feb. 17 attack at the Two 99-cent store in Bushwick — only to be released without bail by another judge Friday. Hidalgo had been facing assault charges in Brooklyn, Manhattan and Staten Island when police said he flipped out at the Brooklyn discount store because he didn’t have enough money to pay for a stick of gum ( New York Post).

NYC Mayor Eric Adams to End Program Providing Free Housing to Illegals in Roosevelt Hotel
NBC: New York City Mayor Eric Adams announced Monday that the city will close the Asylum Seeker Arrival Center at the Roosevelt Hotel, a site that was the frequent target of criticism from Elon Musk and the Trump administration. Over 173,000 migrants completed registrations at the Manhattan hotel since its opening in May 2023, accounting for nearly three quarters of the 232,000 migrants who entered the city since the spring of 2022, the Adams administration reported ( NBC). Libs of TikTok: Mayor Eric Adams is shutting down the Roosevelt Hotel migrant center, which has processed 173,000+ arrivals since May 2023.
