Hi Friend, hope you've been well? We are now well and truly into 2025 and we thought you might appreciate a little update on what we've been up to here. We also want to remind you how much your support is helping vulnerable babies and children thrive –THANK YOU for being such an important part of Our Village!
We asked you to play Santa – and you delivered! 🎅
During our Festive Appeal last year, we asked you to "play Santa" for children that would otherwise miss out. After sharing stories of mums doing it tough, volunteers working round the clock in our warehouses and waitlist numbers of babies and children urgently needing essentials – you responded with donations of over $230,000! The generosity of our supporters is amazing and made a difference to hundreds of babies and children in need, thank you!

New friends join Our Village... welcome CADILLAC!
We’re thrilled to announce Cadillac ANZ is partnering with Our Village to support the Mother’s Day Lunch 2025.
Check out this video of Jess Bala, Managing Director of General Motors Australia and New Zealand, and Our Village CEO, Ruth Holdaway, as they head to our Melbourne Warehouse in the recently launched, all-electric, Cadillac LYRIQ with a boot full of donations from the Cadillac team. Their conversation highlights the importance of this partnership and the joy of giving back!

This is your official notice to "Save the date" for one of Melbourne’s best social events — the Our Village Mother’s Day Lunch is on again in 2025!
Tickets go on sale at 10am on Wednesday 5 March, so it’s time to start planning your table of up to 12 guests to join our fabulous fundraising event.
EVENT DETAILS:
Date: Friday 2 May 2025
Time: 12pm - 4pm
Venue: Glasshouse, Olympic Park Oval, Olympic Boulevard, Melbourne [[link removed]]
Inclusions: Three-course lunch accompanied by still and sparking wine and soft drinks.
Price: Tickets are $295 each or $3,540 for a table of 12 guests.
Proudly presented by DECJUBA, the celebration will be hosted by Brihony Dawson with live music from Midnight Mix. Get your group or table organised and put the date in your diary. We hope to see you there!
Busy on 2 May? Can't make it to Melbourne for our fabulous lunch? Here's an idea...
Hold your own event and fundraise for us! Get dressed up, invite your friends over and get them to bring a plate. While you have a great time laughing and catching up, pass a bowl around and ask them to chip in $59 to gift a clothing bundle to a baby in desperate need. Or bake up a storm and charge your friends to eat your goodies – all in the name of supporting vulnerable babies and children in our community.

Donations... donations... donations!
We have received some extremely generous donations of baby goods recently, including from Lilly (below) from Christian College Surf Coast, who arranged a collection of toiletries, books, baby clothing and car seats! Thank you Lilly! It really does take a village to raise a child and we are so lucky to have wonderful supporters in Our Village stepping up to help those in need. IMPACT UPDATE:
$1 MILLION OF ESSENTIALS DELIVERED
We’ve just ticked over the magical milestone of rehoming $1 million worth of pre-loved baby items so far in 2025.
9,500 essential items like prams, cots and clothing bundles delivered with love, to babies and children in need.
28,000kg worth of goods have been diverted from landfill — that's the equivalent of 40 grand pianos!
Thank you for your ongoing support , we truly appreciate you being a vital part of Our Village.
