Seventy million people get their healthcare through Medicaid—which means cuts to Medicaid would lead to children losing access to dental care, doctor visits and more. Taking away funding would also stop treatment for some cancer patients and lead to loss of long-term services for older Americans and people with disabilities.

In addition to the impact on students and patients, these cuts would mean the elimination of healthcare jobs, including those of many AFT members.

I get it. Not everyone wants to read an article about the cuts, and that’s why all four of these new 30-second videos are running as ads across the country right now.
