Trump and Republicans in Washington are actively attempting to cut social programs — from Medicaid to Social Security — in order to give their billionaire backers and corporate donors another round of huge tax giveaways. As always, they are putting the financial burden on middle-class families and workers who are already struggling with the increasing costs of housing and healthcare.
We will not let this stand. Colorado Democrats are standing against these attacks on working families, and we’re going to put a spotlight on vulnerable Republicans so they feel the pressure to do the same.
Today, we gathered with concerned voters outside Republican Congressman Gabe Evans's office to urge him to oppose the Republican budget resolution that would put nearly 73,000 of his constituents at risk of losing their healthcare.
We only need three Republicans to put their constituents first over their billionaire backers to defeat the attempt to cut Medicaid — will Gabe do the right thing or cave to the GOP’s billionaire backers?
