*Correction: WMC Summarily Suspends Out of State Physician
OLYMPIA, WA – The Washington Medical Commission (WMC) summarily suspended the license of Yogesh Patel, MD (Lic. #60309742) and issued a statement of charges alleging unprofessional conduct.
*Patel’s medical licenses were disciplined in the states of Colorado, Illinois, Arkansas, and New York after he was arrested for attempting to engage in sexual activity with a child. The criminal case has not been resolved.
Patel will have an opportunity to defend against the allegations in the statement of charges at a hearing.
