horrific conditions their loved ones endured for more than 500 days in Hamas captivity.
Shelly Shem Tov said that her son, Omer, was kept alone in a tunnel for 450 days.
Eliya Cohen's family said that he was held with Eli Sharabi and Or Levy, who were freed two weeks before him. The three were chained together by their hands and their feet and had to “learn to walk again.”
Niva Wenkert revealed that her son was starved and lost nearly 70 pounds, while never receiving medical treatment for his chronic illness. “Omer defeated captivity,” Niva said, vowing that, “our fight continues until the last hostage is home.”
63 hostages, including 5 Americans, are still in the clutches of Hamas terrorists in Gaza.
Three hostages who were released in the remarkable IDF special forces rescue operation in June filed a lawsuit last week, after their Hamas captors acknowledged coordinating with “allies” on U.S. college campuses and in the media.
Almog Meir Jan, Andrei Kozlov and Shlomi Ziv were held in Gaza by Abdallah Aljamal, according to the lawsuit and the IDF. Aljamal was a writer for the Palestine Chronicle, a news outlet run by the People Media Project, a U.S.-based, tax-exempt nonprofit that is the focus of the lawsuit.

New Harvard/Harris poll: Over 75% of U.S. voters want Hamas out of Gaza, Iran's nuclear facilities destroyed
A new poll of 2,443 registered voters shows that Americans across the political spectrum continue to stand with Israel against Hamas, and want Iran's nuclear program eliminated.
77% of voters support Israel in its fight against the terror group.
79% believe Hamas must release all remaining hostages without any conditions or face serious consequences, while another 78% say Hamas should not be allowed to govern Gaza.
On Iran, 76% of voters say Iran's nuclear facilities should be destroyed, and a majority believe the U.S. should support Israel in airstrikes to destroy Iran’s nuclear weapons facilities.

U.S. imposes sanctions on Iran's oil trade
The Treasury Department announced

new sanctions today on numerous individuals and entities involved in Iran's illicit oil trade.
"This network of illicit shipping facilitators obfuscates and deceives its role in loading and transporting Iranian oil for sale to buyers in Asia," Treasury said.
"It has shipped tens of millions of barrels of crude oil worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Today’s action represents an initial step to realize President Trump’s campaign of maximum pressure on the Iranian regime. It disrupts efforts by Iran to amass oil revenues to fund terrorists’ activities."
The United States must increase the pressure on the Iranian regime, including by fully enforcing economic sanctions.
Congress should pass the Enhanced Iran Sanctions Act of 2025 to further restrict Iran's illicit oil exports.
U.S. backs Israel delaying release of 602 Palestinian prisoners after Hamas humiliating released hostages
The White House

said yesterday that it supported Israel’s decision to delay releasing 602 Palestinian prisoners in response to Hamas’s horrific abuse of Israeli captives and the despicable parading of caskets carrying the Bibas children.
U.S. National Security Council Spokesperson Brian Hughes said that, “given Hamas’s barbaric treatment of the hostages, including the hideous parade of the Bibas children’s coffins through the streets of Gaza, Israel’s decision to delay the release of prisoners is an appropriate response.”
“The president is prepared to support Israel in whatever course of action it chooses regarding Hamas,” said Hughes.
