Look no further than what took place last week on the Senate floor. They started work on a budget that paves the way for cuts to Social Security and Medicare benefits — all to make room for tax cuts for billionaires.

Cory’s amendments would:

1. Make sure your kids can get healthy meals at school

4. Make sure the federal government supports farmers across the country
5. Ensure Social Security recipients get the benefits they’re owed
6. Get lead out of our drinking water
7. Make our military stronger

10. Prevent Elon Musk from secretly rifling through your personal information

And Senate Democrats introduced hundreds more amendments to lower costs, make healthcare more affordable, and protect vital programs like Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid.
