“The sky is falling.” “We’re doomed.” “Must donate now.”

I know, I know. You probably receive a lot of these fundraising emails. I get them too, and you’ve probably received a few of my emails.

This isn’t one of “those” emails, and when you hear from me and my team, we’re not creating urgency to trick you. But we do share meaningful updates about our effort to win this competitive re-election campaign and keep Orange County blue.

And I want you to know that I’m grateful for every contribution we receive, and I also realize the importance of respecting your time and inbox.

But the reality is, we’ll be going up against some deep-pocketed Republicans, and we’re relying on the strength of this grassroots team.

I hope this email reassured you enough to convince you to chip in $3, or whatever you can afford, to my re-election campaign today. If not, I’m still grateful you took the time to read.
