South Jersey families are feeling the impact of rising prices under the Trump Administration. Instead of offering stability, President Trump and Elon Musk are fueling fear, chaos, and uncertainty—leaving working families behind. In Congress, I am committed to pushing back against these harmful policies and ensuring our government works for the American people.

Rep. Norcross speaks at town hall with Camden County officials
Last week, I joined Camden County Commissioner Louis Cappelli, Jr., New Jersey Assemblyman Dan Hutchison, and Chesilhurst Mayor Jamila A. Odom for a town hall in Chesilhurst, New Jersey. Over 300 residents attended to voice their concerns about the Trump Administration’s policies and Elon Musk’s increasing influence over the federal government.
I’ve held over 100 town halls since coming to Congress because listening to my constituents is the most important part of my job. During our discussion, I heard firsthand how President Trump’s chaotic actions are hurting South Jersey families who are already grappling with the rising cost of living. As an electrician, I know what it’s like to struggle to make ends meet for your family—when prices go up, tough choices have to be made.
During the town hall I made one thing clear: I will always stand up for South Jersey families and fight back against the Trump-Musk power grab.
Protecting Americans from Elon Musk’s Conflicts of Interest
Elon Musk’s influence over government decision-making is unacceptable. That’s why I am pushing for legislation in Congress to ensure he is held accountable. I support the following bills:
- Ending DOGE Conflicts Act – This bill would expose Musk’s financial conflicts of interest by requiring Musk and others who are given his same title of Special Government Employee to file public financial disclosures.
- CLEAR Act – This bill will ensure that temporary agencies, such as the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), are subject to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, giving the American people more transparency into Musk’s government involvement.
- Taxpayer Data Protection Act – This bill prevents Musk from accessing Americans’ personal data from agencies like the Treasury Department, Social Security, and Medicare. No one should have access to your private information without clear qualifications and security clearances.
Defending Federal Workers

Federal workers keep our food safe to eat, our water safe to drink, and our air safe to breathe. They process Social Security checks for seniors. They are TSA agents and air traffic controllers who keep us safe when we fly in and out of Philadelphia Airport, and so much more. Federal workers keep our country running, yet the Trump Administration is attempting to undermine their jobs and livelihoods. This month, as co-chair of the Congressional Labor Caucus I met with AFGE, NTEU, and other federal worker unions to discuss how we can fight back. Unions are leading the charge, and I've got their backs.
