Just last month, Donald Trump declared an empty promise to “love and cherish” Medicaid, a program that over 70 million Americans rely on every day to access affordable health care.
But if his deception wasn’t obvious then, it certainly is now: He’s endorsed the House GOP’s plan to cut $880 billion from Medicaid!
“Trump said in an interview with Elon Musk that he wouldn't touch Medicaid. Hours later he endorsed a GOP plan that could slash the program.” [1]
Let’s be clear: Brittany Pettersen understands that cutting this life-saving program will put families at risk – including 30,000 kids in Colorado's 7th District. It’s a dangerous and cruel move, and Brittany won’t stand by and let the GOP cut critical programs that Coloradans rely on.
As Trump and House Republicans scheme to rip away health care from millions to line their own pockets, Brittany is working to put a stop to this plan. Chip in today to help Brittany in the fight to defend Medicaid:

If House Republicans get their way and gut Medicaid, it would hit regular families the hardest and threaten to close countless local hospitals and community health centers — particularly in rural areas.
On the other hand, Brittany is committed to strengthening Medicaid. That’s why she helped introduce the Medicaid Primary Care Improvement Act earlier this month.
As a mom, Brittany knows how important it is for families to have access to reliable primary care. That’s why her bill would allow Medicaid beneficiaries to access primary care services at a flat, monthly fee so that families can foster a long-term relationship with primary care physicians and reduce emergency room visits and unnecessary costs.
T his is the kind of progress the American people want — not a plan to roll back affordable care for millions, raise costs for everyone else, and shutter rural hospitals.
In Congress, Brittany is fighting every day to protect Medicaid and make health care more affordable — and she won’t let anyone get in her way.
Chip in today to help Brittany fight back against this draconian Republican budget. The House GOP’s majority is historically slim, so we have a real shot at stopping their plans if we act now:
