WMC Summarily Suspends Out of State Physician

OLYMPIA, WA – The Washington Medical Commission (WMC) summarily suspended the license of Yogesh Patel, MD (Lic. #60309742) and issued a statement of charges alleging unprofessional conduct.

Patel’s medical licenses were disciplined in the states of Colorado, Illinois, Arkansas, and New York. Dr. Patel was found to be in violation in each of these states for various acts of attempting to engage in sexual activity with a child.

Patel will have an opportunity to defend against the allegations in the statement of charges at a hearing.
