Mitch McConnell is still bent on scaling back unemployment benefits for the Kentuckians hit hardest by this crisis.

We know that so many folks are going through a challenging time right now. If you’d like to hit pause on these emails while this crisis is at its worst, just let us know here.

Team, over 550,000 Kentuckians are now unemployed. Compared to the rest of the nation, Kentucky has lost the largest share of its labor force to COVID-19—and what does Mitch McConnell want to do? He’s planning to scale back enhanced unemployment benefits.

In the midst of a pandemic, while so many are worried about making rent, caring for children during school cancellations, and just staying healthy, Mitch is vowing to end the very program that is helping millions of Americans survive this crisis.

If Mitch gets his way, people will fall further behind, especially here in Kentucky. He’s gone out of his way to make sure big industries are getting bailouts, but when it comes to the people hit hardest by the economic fallout from this crisis, he’s actively making things worse.

This is no accident. Mitch’s priorities have always been to give every advantage to the people who need it the least, while the rest of us are left to fend for ourselves. It’s cruel, and it’s wrong. And this is our year to bring it to an end.

Before our FEC deadline on June 3rd, please chip in if you can to help Amy defeat Mitch McConnell.

Thanks,
