🤝 What’s BAHIP? BAHIP is a one-year, paid internship designed to recruit and train housing development professionals who will enhance inclusion and racial equity in affordable housing at leading nonprofit housing development organizations. This internship provides a launching pad into an affordable housing development/project management career for Bay Area college students. 🧑🎓 Who Should Apply? We strongly encourage applications from low-income students, students of color, and students entering their last year of college in Fall 2026 who have an academic focus or interest in urban studies, community development, and related subject matter. Students with bilingual/bicultural backgrounds are also encouraged to apply. 👉 Interested Applicants: - Review the Program Description We encourage applicants to review the program description before completing the application. If you need a Word doc version of the internship application, please email me: [email protected]
- Attend an Info Session There will be two virtual info sessions available for interested applicants to attend. Come get your questions answered about the internship and application process: Friday, February 28 from 12-1PM and Friday, March 14 from 1-2PM. Please RSVP/get the link for the webinar by emailing me: [email protected]
NPH’s BAHIP is a measurable and proven way that we’re diversifying and strengthening the affordable housing field. I’m so proud to continue this work toward a more equitable future for our industry! |
