BREAKING! NPR reports: "More than 1 in 4 U.S. workers have lost their jobs
since the coronavirus crisis shut down much of the economy in March. 40.8
million people."

But Mitch McConnell is threatening to block all bills passed by House
Democrats because of new rules.

Ironically, the new rules are designed to minimize House members spreading
the coronavirus.

Nancy Pelosi tells Politico, "Simply and sadly, he is trying to find every
excuse not to meet the needs of the American people."

The House Democrats HEROES Act adopts major pieces of Elizabeth Warren's
Essential Workers Bill Of Rights: workplace safety, hazard pay, child
care, paid sick leave. The bill also draws on her proposals with Joe Biden
on student debt cancellation and anti-corruption -- and mirrors her ideas
on contact tracing, public manufacturing, and automatically sending every
voter a ballot to vote from home. She's vowed to push for more corporate
oversight and other ideas in the Senate.

THE HILL REPORTS: "The ad will be aired on MSNBC, Fox News and CNN, as
well as local outlets in Kentucky, the home state of Senate Majority
Leader Mitch McConnell."

Thanks for being a bold progressive.
