It’s been a while since our last newsletter, and we’ve been hard at work navigating the ever-evolving media landscape. We’ve heard your top question loud and clear: “How can we better engage with the newsletter and the Blue Amp community?” Today, we’re thrilled to share some exciting news that addresses this very question.

We’re Launching a Blue Amp Substack!

After careful consideration, we’ve decided to transition the Blue Note newsletter to Substack! This platform offers a user-friendly experience that will allow us to organize content more effectively, embed videos seamlessly, and provide you with richer, more frequent updates. Our goal is to foster a more interactive and engaging community, and Substack is the perfect place to make this happen.

Why the Change?

In these challenging times, access to reliable information and a supportive community is more crucial than ever. Substack enables us to enhance our content delivery and community interaction, ensuring you have the tools and information needed to stay informed and connected.

What to Expect Next

We’ll be rolling out a new and improved Blue Amp on Substack tomorrow, Tuesday February 25th, with our first Blue Note and a twelve hour live-stream hosted by me, Cliff Schecter! Among the guests who will be stopping by to chat will be: 

• Emmy award winning broadcast journalist David Schuster at 8am ET. 
• Actor, comedian, and host of SiriusXM’s “Tell Me Everything” John Fugelsang at 12pm ET.
• Comedian and musician Hal Spark, best known for “Queer as Folk” and hosting E!’s “Talk Soup” at 5pm ET.

Expect a fresh layout, integrated multimedia content, and more opportunities for engagement. We’ll keep you updated throughout this transition and provide all the information you need to join us on this new platform. We cannot sugarcoat the current situation. Right-wing authoritarianism, defeated by a worldwide coalition during WWII, was only in hibernation. Over the past decade it has infected democratic societies--including ours. It is as simple as it is terrifying: What we do now will define the future of our country and world.

Democracy never sleeps, and neither can we.

So we ask that you support our work, so we can continue to engage in this fight every moment of every day. So our kids grow up in democracy, not dystopia.
