Friends,

Thank you so much for your support over the past week. Not only did we exceed our $5,000 goal, but we received contributions from an awesome range of people -- from new donors and return donors, high-dollar donations and grassroots contributions alike. I was -- and still am -- blown away by your generosity. Together, we raised $10,704 in 5 days to support candidates in Pennsylvania, Texas, and especially in Virginia. We’re finalizing our endorsement decisions in the next few days, and I can’t wait to share them with you.

And in addition to thanking you for your monetary support, I have 6 other individuals who deserve a shout out: Rebecca, Grace, Julianne, Catherine, Alana, and Ollie. Today marked the end of their summer internships with us, as we celebrated our first-ever DC office opening and first intern class with many of you this morning.

These six individuals have done more than I can possibly describe in one email: they’ve managed extensive donor and candidate research; prepared exhaustively detailed documents on political strategy; started our monthly newsletter; created content for our website, our email program, and our social media; helped us open our first office; and learned how to manage each other (and occasionally, me!) in the process.

So today, I just wanted to reach out to say thank you to you all. In the last 24 hours, we officially celebrated the opening of our new office, celebrated our wonderful team, and exceeded our fundraising goal for our third round of endorsements this year! Whether you donated, volunteered your time, nominated candidates into our process, or were just rooting for us -- you were a part of this process, and we’re very grateful for that.
