John --
In just a moment, I’m going to ask you to make a contribution to my campaign. But before I do, let me explain why your support is important -- especially with our end-of-month deadline approaching.
It’s hard to believe, but the WA-10 primary election is only 68 days away. We have a lot to do in a limited time frame -- including ramping up our Democratic turnout operation and deploying our advertising program across the district.
The good news is we're in a strong position to consolidate the early support behind us. But to do so, we need to show that we can raise the resources to compete:
We've set a goal of raising $5,000 before Sunday’s end-of-month deadline, but we still have a ways to go. Can you chip in a donation today?

It’s been my objective from the beginning to give our community a thoughtful, forward-thinking choice in the race to replace my former boss Denny Heck. If enough of our friends and neighbors throughout the South Sound hear our progressive message, I’m confident we can win this race.
But doing that takes resources. It costs money.
Your contribution toward this crucial $5,000 goal for the end-of-month gives us the ability to start our outreach efforts before anyone else.
That means more time talking to voters about the true threats posed by climate change, the importance of protecting women’s reproductive rights in the face Republican attacks, and our plan to advance economic policies that actually work for working families -- not just the wealthy and well-connected.
We know the pandemic may have put a limit on how much you can give. That’s ok. But if (and only if) you can, please contribute $10, $15 or $50 to help us meet our end-of-month goal.
I can't thank you enough,
Phil

Paid for by Phil Gardner for Congress
Phil Gardner served as the District Director for Congressman Rep. Denny Heck in Washington's 10th District. Now, he's running to replace Denny in order to continue fighting for the people of the South Sound and our shared progressive values. If elected, Phil would make history as Washington state’s first openly LGBT Member of Congress.
