Friend,

Did you see Shana and Jeff’s story that we shared earlier?

Every time you give to Easterseals, your support helps more parents like them give their children the best possible start to life through our early intervention services.

I know you understand how important this work is and how impactful “making the first five count” is in the lives of children. That’s why I’m personally reaching out to let you know that we’ve recently observed an increased need for these services.

To address this need, we’ve set a goal to raise $10,000 before the end of this short month, and we’re counting on your help to reach it: Will you please chip in $25 or more now to support Easterseals and our work that is helping more parents give their children the urgent, life-changing support they need to thrive?

Thank you for supporting parents, their children, and all the 1.5 million people who benefit from our programs and services every year.

Subject: Make the first five count for more children like Ryan, Alexa, and Jacob

Early intervention for childhood delays is essential. [family picture] Help more families provide their children with the care they need now to make the first five count. GOAL: $10,000 DEADLINE: Feb. 28 [GIVE NOW]

Friend,

Right now, parents across the country are eager to start early intervention for their children with development disabilities before they reach the critical age of 5 – but many of them won’t get the help they’re looking for.

Instead, they’ll be put on waitlists for months or even years, and many of the children will grow up before ever being able to access these services that can have a lifelong impact on five key areas of development: relationships, exploring and learning, communication, playing, and moving.

Every one of these children is missing out on the opportunity to be the best version of themselves. That’s why we’ve set an urgent goal to raise $10,000 before the end of the month to reach more of them before it’s too late. But we need your help. Will you make a gift of $25 or more now to help more parents access the critical services that can have a profound and lifelong impact for their children?

When Shana and Jeff’s triplets were born 12 weeks premature, with disabilities like chronic lung disease and cerebral palsy, the family had no time to lose. That’s why one of their nurses suggested Easterseals when they were still in the neonatal intensive care unit.

Today, triplets Ryan, Alexa, and Jacob are making remarkable progress, and parents Shana and Jeff say that Easterseals has been the best thing that could have happened to their family.

“From where they were when we were leaving the [neonatal intensive care unit] to where they are now, it’s just amazing to see the change,” Shana says. “We can’t say it’s because of us as their parents, but it’s because of Easterseals and all the people that work with them.”

Friend, not everyone is so fortunate. Right now, there are so many parents like Shana and Jeff looking for services for their children who won’t be able to get them without our help. That’s why we need your support in hitting our $10,000 goal before the end of the month. Make the first five count for more children like Ryan, Alexa, and Jacob while it can still make a life-changing difference.

Will you make a gift of $25 or more now to support Easterseals and help more parents like Shana and Jeff access the critical services that can have a profound and lifelong impact for their children?
