Dear AFGE Activist,

According to news reports, President Trump is considering plans to take over the U.S. Postal Service (USPS)—firing the Postal Service Board of Governors and placing the independent, self-financing agency under the control of the Department of Commerce.

We see this for what it is: a direct attack on 640,000 USPS employees, the unmatched universal service they provide and every person who relies on the Postal Service.

Please join the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC); the AFL-CIO; our union brothers, sisters and siblings; and supporters TODAY, Monday, February 24 as we come together near Capitol Hill to deliver a clear message to the White House: Hands off the Postal Service.

WHAT: Hell No to Dismantling the Postal Service Rally
WHEN: Monday, Feb. 24, 1 p.m. ET
WHERE: Taft Carillon (across from NALC headquarters), corner of Louisiana and Constitution Avenues NW, Washington, DC

Please join us for this important action.

In Solidarity,

AFGE
