Trump Cuts Billions in Taxpayer Funds to Illegal Immigrants in New Executive Order
by Ben Johnson
President Donald Trump promised on the campaign trail to "make America wealthy again" by no longer wasting U.S. taxpayers' dollars on wasteful or ineligible programs. The president this week has bolstered American prosperity and helped secure the southern border by cutting off the flow of federal dollars to illegal immigrants, "to prevent taxpayer resources from acting as a magnet and fueling illegal immigration to the United States."

by Dan Hart
In the latest incident involving the Israeli hostages held by Hamas that has drawn widespread outrage, Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced Thursday that a body that Hamas returned as part of the hostage deal was "an anonymous, unidentified body" rather than that of Shiri Bibas, the mother of two children that were also killed. Johnson on the GOP Budgets: 'The Media Has Been Trying to Divide the Two Chambers. We're Not Having That'
by Suzanne Bowdey
Just how committed was the Senate GOP to passing its version of the president's budget? Past 4 a.m. in the morning committed, according to the clock on the chamber floor. Thanks to Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), Thursday's debate turned into a raucous overnighter, with Republicans fending off hundreds of the Democrats' attempts to gum up the process in a grueling 10-hour debate. But the sleeplessness paid off. By the time both parties lumbered off to bed, Senate Republicans had won their race with the House. The question now is: will it matter?

by Joshua Arnold
The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) on Thursday withdrew its petition for the U.S. Supreme Court to hear an appeal (Eknes-Tucker v. Marshall) against Alabama's Vulnerable Child Compassion and Protection Act (VCAP), which protects gender-confused minors from the harmful effects of life-altering puberty blockers, cross-hormones, and transgender surgeries. The action continues the Trump administration's policy shift of repudiating ideological lawsuits brought by their predecessors under President Biden.

In a recent interview now making the rounds on social media, Vice President J.D. Vance discussed his Christian faith and the importance of family and explained what the Trump administration's policies have to do with both. Can the Department of Education Be Reformed?
by Joshua Arnold
The Trump administration continues to steamroll its way through the bureaucracy, and the internal #Resistance is growing desperate. Trump nominees have dropped the hammer on woke insanity, while his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is sifting out waste with a fine-tooth comb - then carting it away by the truckload. But some agencies are so far gone that it's simpler for them to parcel off some responsibilities wholesale.

How Can Christians Better Respond to the Radical and Destructive Ideology of Transgenderism?
by Sarah Holliday
When it comes to the transgenderism movement, there are many who believe "it is harmless," said Walt Heyer on Thursday's "Washington Watch." Heyer, a detransitioner who serves as a senior fellow with Family Research Council, described his mission to share his story and proclaim the truth about transgenderism. "I'm here to tell you it's not harmless. It will destroy your life. I'm 84 years old, [and] I'm still talking about what happened when I was four. It can't be harmless."

DHS Revokes 'Protected Status' for Haitian Illegal Immigrants, Making Way for Deportations
by S.A. McCarthy
After Haitian illegal immigrants invading small towns across the U.S. made headlines last year, the Trump administration has moved to end Biden-era protections for the immigrations as mass deportations continue. U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem announced Thursday that she had rescinded the temporary protected status (TPS) that then-President Joe Biden and his administration had afforded to hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants from Haiti. "President Trump and I are returning TPS to its original status: temporary," Noem quipped in a DHS press release.

We Need to Do a Better Job Protecting the Vulnerable in a Technologically Advanced World
by Sarah Holliday
We live in a technologically advanced world, making it nearly impossible to fully protect our eyes from the threats we hardly see coming. Social media, in particular, is a unique environment. Can it be used for good? Certainly. However, in many ways, it has become a petri dish of online pathogens.

Understanding God's Wrath Is Part of Rejoicing in His Love
by Sarah Holliday
Singer Madalyn Rae hit the nail on the head when she said: "I never understood the weight of the cross until I understood the depth of my sin, and I can only understand the depth of my sin when I understand the holiness of God in comparison." Profound truth exuberates from these words. And yet, it seems to address a conversation many of us prefer to avoid.
