America has now surpassed 100,000 COVID-19 deaths with no end in sight, and with over 1.7 million infections.

The President is in full propaganda mode—blaming China, rationalizing why old people dying is okay, and trying to re-write the early part of 2020. And helping him along the way is the GOP Congress who still refuses to hold him accountable. Including my opponent.

So here are three dangerous myths from Trump that we must reject regardless of politics.

One - The myth that Trump has been tough on China and banned travel from China.
Two - The myth that no one knew the virus was spreading.
Three - The myth that once the White House knew about the virus, they acted quickly.

My own GOP opponent bought himself stock in a Pharmaceutical company working on a potential COVID19 treatment with the Communist Government of China. But it gets worse. Even into March, when the CDC was literally screaming that we need to act immediately, he repeatedly told us in writing that “the virus is NOT spreading in the United States or Virginia” and “the virus is low risk.” Finally by March 13th he promised “tests soon.” When asked 10 days later to explain his Stock purchase, false assurances that the virus was low risk and not spreading, and where are the tests, he called our inquiry into his acts “despicable.”

Donald Trump and my GOP opponent are failing in every aspect of leadership. We must hold them accountable. But we can’t do that without your continued support.
