Hi,
As you know, my dad Mike Espy is running to represent the people of Mississippi in the U.S. Senate. And take it from me: He is in it to win it.

The people and the progress of Mississippi have fueled my dad throughout his life. From his days in Congress during the Reagan administration, to his time as President Clinton’s Secretary of Agriculture, to his decades of leadership overseeing nonprofit organizations that have given small businesses the resources they need to succeed, my dad has truly led a life dedicated to public service and lifting people up.

Now, I may be biased, but I can’t say the same for Cindy Hyde-Smith. Our current Senator has time and again put the extreme agenda of her party before the best interests of the people, and Mississippi has only suffered for it.

The future of America is on the line this November. It’s a matter of choosing between a leader who will force our state backwards, like our opponent is doing, or one who will move us forward, as my dad hopes to do.

This Sunday is a critical end-of-month fundraising deadline, and the results we see will make a real difference in our ability to keep our campaign moving forward and flip the Senate. I’m hoping we can show my dad that the people have his back: Will you make a contribution of $5 or more to help?
