I wanted to send you a quick note to thank you for all you did toward our mid-month fundraising deadline. Moments ago, my team informed me that we are back on track to reaching our target for August.
When we missed our initial goal, I'll admit, I was a bit concerned. But folks like you stepped up in a big way. Thank you for doing so.
We can't slow down or let up just yet, however. In the coming weeks and months, I will be doing everything I can to lead Democrats to victory, and I'm asking you to do the same — whether that's by chipping in when you can, adding your name to join our fight, or volunteering your time.
Democrats have a strong message heading into the next election. We will win up and down the ticket on our ideas, not senseless mudslinging. But we must work together and focus on the issues that matter most to the American people if we're going to come out ahead.
So long as folks like you are standing with me, I believe we can win. I'll be in touch soon with what's next in our work to take back the Senate and the White House. In the meantime, please carry the energy we have seen so far this month to the very end.
