LA County Reaches Key Milestone in Debris Removal Program
The first batch of signed Right of Entry forms for the Eaton and Palisades Fires have been delivered by LA County Public Works to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – a significant milestone for debris removal efforts to begin.
Residents who still need to submit their Right of Entry forms are encouraged to do so as soon as possible to ensure their properties are included in the debris removal process. Additional information and support are available at _recovery.lacounty.gov [ [link removed] ]_.
*New Online ROE Form Available – Submit by March 31, 2025*
The new online Right of Entry form is now available for those opting into the government-sponsored debris removal program. Submit the form here [ [link removed] ]. The form is also available in Spanish [ [link removed] ].
*No action is needed if you already submitted an ROE form using the previous link.*
If you have not yet submitted your opt-in form, please do so as soon as possible to take advantage of this free debris removal program by the Army Corps of Engineers.

*Ocean Water Quality Rain Advisory *Extended for all LA County Beaches Until Monday, February 10, at 10:00 am
Due to current rainfall, beachgoers are advised to avoid all water contact, especially near discharging storm drains, creeks, and rivers due to potentially higher bacteria levels in these areas. This includes any runoff that may flow onto or pond on the beach sand.
The ocean water quality rain advisory will be in effect *until 10:00 am, Monday, February 10, 2025. *This advisory may be extended depending on further rainfall. Click here [ [link removed] ] for more information.

*What Landlords Need to Know about FEMA’s Rental Assistance Program*
FEMA Rental Assistance is a temporary grant available to FEMA applicants whose homes remain uninhabitable after the wildfires. It pays for a place to live while their home is being repaired or rebuilt, or while they look for a new home to rent. Potential landlords can find out more about rental assistance below. Small businesses, nonprofits, and workers affected by the devastating wildfires can now apply for direct financial relief through the LA Region Small Business and Worker Relief Funds. Applications are open now through February 24, 2025. See image below and click here [ [link removed] ] to apply.
