Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk are attempting a corporate coup on
our federal government while unconstitutionally attacking our fundamental
rights — and the Democratic Party so far has largely failed to meet the
moment.

Everyday people have noticed and started pushing back, calling out
Democrats to do their jobs. Thousands protested the Trump administration’s
attempt to shut down USAID in Washington, D.C. this week. When Democratic
leaders addressed the crowds, people shouted, “We know! Do something about
it!”

Now, more and more Democratic senators are pledging to block Trump’s
nominees until Musk’s hostile takeover is stopped. It’s about time!

But Justice Democrats leaders have been outspoken and fiercely fighting
back since Day 1. Reps. Rashida Tlaib and Delia Ramirez joined protestors
outside of the Department of Labor — Musk and DOGE’s next target — to show
solidarity and urge their fellow Democrats in the House and Senate to
fight this threat with the strength and urgency it demands.
