John,
We are excited to share that our very own Renee Hopkins recently appeared on The Commute with Carlson to discuss the Alliance’s ongoing work to address gun violence in Washington and across the country. During her interview, Renee highlighted some of our recent achievements that are already making communities safer, shed light on the scope of gun violence in America, and gave a glimpse of our 2025 legislative priorities to advance responsible gun policies. More importantly, she emphasized how solving the gun violence epidemic requires us to embrace its complex nature by advocating for commonsense legislation, supporting community-based programs, and - arguably the most critical - having conversations across the aisle, because gun violence isn’t political. It affects every home in America, and we need broad collaboration to enact meaningful change.
We will be posting highlights from the interview throughout the coming weeks on our Instagram, so make sure you’re following us there. |
Thank you for standing with us, and please don’t hesitate to get involved by visiting our website. We truly appreciate your partnership in this critical work. With gratitude, Gregory Joseph |
